Travelled from the south coast to see my daughter and her new baby in Bristol. Wanted to visit Shelton mallet due to a series I’ve been watching and just loved the look of the town. Found this establishment and booked it for the night. Had issues with train delays so wasn’t going to get there till after 10pm when staff go home but bless her heart the girl stayed and waited late for us to arrive to give us the key with no problem at all. We arrived around 10,20pm and she was just lovely welcoming us and showed us our room. Value for money totally. Clean, really comfortable beds and linen and perfect for what we needed. Just sorry we couldn’t utilise the bar/restaurant as it didn’t open till 12.00 and we wanted to walk into Shepton for the market. Value for money for sure and would definately stay again

Despite being just off the main road, the room was very quiet. I needed to stay an extra night and the staff were very obliging

Location for visiting family was perfect and it was quiet and only cost £61. The bed was comfy, everything was clean but very 1970’s and was in need of a refurbishment. None of this bothered me as I only wanted a bed for the night. Everything in the room was in working order, tv lights with all the wash items (soap, shampoo etc) and clean towels.

Staff were brilliant, I had my young daughter with me, they made her very welcome and she loved the time spent there. The room was warm and comfortable, food was nice, very present weekend.

Staff were friendly. Easy check in. The room overall was clean. Tea and coffee making facilities with complimentary toiletries in the bathroom. For a budget hotel near the centre of town we were happy with our overnight stay.
