Great location for walking. Can literally set off on a National Trust path from the property itself. Plenty of car parking space. Quaint old building. Accommodation away from the pub, so fairly quiet. Large room. Comfortable bed. Good shower.

My wife and I have previously stayed here and thought it would be nice to take my dad as a stop over before travelling through the Yorkshire Dales before getting to our destination in the Lake District. Glad we did because the hotel was as good as we remembered and the food excellent.
