The fine print
Pets are allowed but they are subject to confirmation directly with the property owners. There is a GBP 10 charge per pet, per night. Pets are only allowed in some rooms; please contact the property for further information. Last check-ins must be made by 22:00, as this is when the reception desk closes. Guests that are unable to arrive before then must contact the property prior to arrival to ensure a member of staff is available to check them in.This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.

Brilliant hosts, good size rooms, plentiful simple breakfast. Felt like visiting my own family in the countryside. I had a chance to pet some horses on permission from the farm worker.

The staff was really friendly. The rooms were basic but clean and we liked the Harry potter touches. The breakfast was good and the staff was good conversation. Overall happy with our stay here!

Lovely bright and clean rooms. Breakfast choice is excellent, a really broad range, various flavours of porridge, breads, croissants, pan au chocolat, waffles, crumpets, fresh fruits, cheeses, hams, yogurts, fruit juices and an array of coffees and teas...these are just some of what I can remember! Brilliant location and a lovely warm welcome. We met Mike in the morning, a wonderfully friendly interesting man to talk to who could not possibly have been more helpful, he even got me some bread for the two beautiful Shire horses that live nearby :)
