Lovely hotel in unique location. Excellent staff and excellent food. There was a coach party whilst we were there and the breakfast staff were really stretched but still managed to make individual porridge for my wife.

The hotel is characterful; beautiful interiors in the dining room and lounges. It's in a lovely, quiet location. The room was comfortable and clean.

From the drive in I was unsure what to expect, but suddenly this lovely old building appeared. The place itself is stunning and feels like it's been frozen in time. Very relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and couldn't have done more to make our stay comfortable. The food is excellent and generously portioned. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants a wonderfully relaxing stay with great food and superb staff.
