The view is just gorgeous, the garden and the whole place are so thoughtfully put together. Super clean too—perfect if you like that extra peace of mind. And David deserves a special mention: his way of welcoming guests feels effortless and just right. If you’re new to the island, his tips are spot-on and make everything so much easier.

An exceptional stay that starts with a personal welcome from the owner and a tour of the premises. The property overlooks the sea with a view to chalk cliffs to one side. Each morning, the owner spends time at the breakfast table of his guests asking about their plans and advising on options. A short walk from the main house though the pretty gardens and past the helipad is the swimming pool and sauna. Our suite was very tastefully decorated and had its own kitchen. My 10 year old son loved sleeping in the living room with its chandelier. The shower and bathroom were also very modern, not always a given in an old house.
