Vivian and her Mom are great hosts. We had much fun spending time together and chatting. The rooms are great and calm. Thus, you can perfectly sleep. The location is close to the old town but very peaceful and silent with a yard surrounded by traditional buildings and an old garden. We liked and enjoyed very much to stay there.

It was our first time in China and we flew into Shangri-la after a brief stop in Kunming. Vivien kindly picked us up at the airport and drove us to her wonderful homestay in the paradise now known Shangri-la. We had the most wonderful time and have memories that will last us a lifetime. Vivien and her mother are the kindest hosts that you could ever hope for and helped make our stay such a wonderful experience. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Vivian and her mam are great people. Very kind and helpfull. We loved their dog too 😍. Comfortable rooms, felt like home. Great location to explore the old town.

Vivian and her mum are really lovely and their guesthouse, while located just on the edge of the old town, was calm and quiet even at the busiest of times.
