Any damages caused due to decorations will be charged in accordance with the hotel policies.To enhance and improve the overall facilities, the hotels fitness center and swimming pool area are currently being renovated, completion is scheduled for the end of 1st Quarter 2024. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, clean, great location with a garden in a quiet neighbourhood, breakfast rich and varied, the entire staff extremely helpful. We arrived in the morning after an 11 hours flight and we get our room at 10 a.m. Also, the concierge helped us to book tickets for attractions from chinese sites. The pool was a plus. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Nice location in it’s own grounds. Close enough to walk into the French concession area. The rooms are very nice, huge bed, well appointed bathroom with a huge bath and Molton Brown toiletries supplied. Some international channels on the TV if you want to watch any. The breakfast buffet is lovely, if a little expensive for China. Staff were very attentive and the concierge can organise trips and visits if you want that. We didn’t need to use this service as we just used Didi cars to move around Shanghai. We booked our own River cruise and Shanghai tower visit using C trip. The photo was the view from our window and you can see Shanghai tower in the distance - the French Concession is in the foreground.

We really like this hotel. It’s located in a great area with plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. The breakfast is excellent, offering a wide variety of options—including delicious Chinese specialties we loved, along with many other choices. We also really enjoyed the Chinese restaurant at the hotel. The staff are exceptionally kind and very helpful

Lovely hotel surrounded by a large garden and a leafy, clean neighbourhood. We had fun exploring the safe, clean streets and discovering small boutiques, restaurants, bars. The hotel was in a central location that made it easy to explore Shanghai. We had a comfortable, large room with a lovely view. Staff were excellent and and on the whole spoke good English. Breakfast had lots of choice and we had tasty room service one night.

The location is perfect--right at the heart of Shanghai. The property locates in a historical garden, which is very beautiful and rich in history to explore.

Love the clean, comfortable quiet rooms. The gym is excellent and the spa is great. The surroundings are very tranquil and it feels like a luxury setting. The staff were friendly.
