Our experience at Alila Shanghai was excellent and even above expectation regarding room, cleanliness, breakfast and services such as the pool, for instance. There is maybe one little room for improvement although the service level was very good, I guess the level of english was a bit low and we found it a bit difficult to communicate with the staff at the reception. However, everybody was very kind and helpful. We had a lovely stay. Thanks again to all the Alila staff, including the lady of the room service.

The design is gorgeous, atmosphere and lighting super nice, staff were extra friendly and helpful, and the price value was excellent especially compared to other options available in Shanghai. Maybe it was just because of the recent opening and prices are lower for now, but I definitely was surprised by the value for money considering the kind of standard this hotel provided.
