The property itself was in a fantastic location — clean, tidy, and with a lovely view. We stayed there with our daughter and her fiancé as a convenient base while attending a nearby wedding. Due to the windy and showery weather, we didn’t get a chance to use the outdoor deck at all, nor did we have much downtime at the property. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by the host’s attitude. Despite leaving the apartment in immaculate condition, we were accused of damaging a new parasol — something we hadn’t even used. When we politely clarified this, the host continued to send accusatory and rude messages, ultimately demanding payment. I had to involve Booking.com to resolve the situation and explain that we hadn’t used the deck due to the poor weather. As a host myself, I believe it's essential to treat guests with respect and would never accuse them of causing damage without clear and credible evidence. I would recommend that future guests take photographs of items upon arrival to avoid similar misunderstandings.

I'm so happy to write this review now. "The View" guest house is the most astonishing place we ever stayed and this comes from a couple with a little boy that have been fortunate enough to stay in some incredible places all over the world but this guest house is simply one of a kind! The two double bedroom property is amazing and very generous in size, the view is stunning over the country side with beautiful rolling hills, the rooms are really comfy and nicely designed, same as the enormous living room and the kitchen. The terrace and the garden are so nice that you only wanna enjoy it and forget about exploring the surroundings. The hospitality of our host, Ann was by far one of the best things of our stay, although we had no time to see each other, she was always happy to share tips, recommendations and suggestions, answers to any questions, any time of the day. I will encourage all my friends and family to plan a stay to this amazing guest house! Thank you, Ann. It was a truly wonderful yet short experience, and we'll definitely come back for more!
