I was hiring a car from Hertz which is 2 mins walk away so Hotel Amine was a great choice. I walked from the train station through the busy Madina and it wasn’t far. The breakfast starts at 6am which is basic but varied and plentiful. The room and Hotel is very clean and the staff are all very friendly. I would recommend this Hotel if you are in Sfax.

I don't know why this hotel describes itself as 2-star. It is far, far better than most of the 3-star hotels I've stayed in in Tunisia. I got ... A spacious single room. A spacious private bathroom. Air conditioning. A buffet breakfast with 17 different foodstuffs if you include all the butters & jams. Cost - 95 dinars/€28.50.
