Paul “Idyllic cabin for a peaceful getaway”

The peaceful cabin was just perfect for our family of four. The rural location was private yet with the convenience of only a 5 minute drive to the shops in the town and 15 minutes to the beautiful beaches of the Arrabida. The cabin was clean, nicely finished and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The owners went above and beyond. I really liked the fact that they stocked the fridge with bottled water, milk, cheese, fresh eggs, bread, jams, fruit, coffee, tea and even a bottle of local wine. After spending the day travelling, not having to go out looking for a local shop for food was so nice. We could just arrive and relax. That small little detail on arrival just makes the difference between a good experience and a great one. Would definitely recommend.

The house is so cute, in a quiet place in the nature with beautiful views, there is everything you need to cook, and it is obvious that everything is done by someone who has great taste! It is not regular ikea kind of decoration with simple dishes etc. Each piece seems to be chosen carefully with great quality. The bed were very comfy even the ones in the small bedroom. The house was spotless clean. The owner lady was so kind to wait for us for our late checkin time, she explained everything in detail and showed us how to use the jakuzzi (that we enjoyed a lot!) It was also “breakfast included” she left lots of complementary food for breakfast including eggs from their chicken, oranges from their trees and we even had our welcome drink, à bottle of wine from the region. The next day she also let us to do late checkout so we could enjoy our breakfast in the beautiful terrace and used jakuzzi once more. The surroundings, the house itself and the owner, all was full of positive vibes. We loved this place a lot and we will definitely come back.

Wonderful location - absolutely beautiful views and so peaceful, away from the crowds and the roads! Highly recommend for a family of 4!

Very well equiped wooden chalet with lovely view towards the countryside .It would get a higher rating if it was properly marked with signage.After driving down a narrow unmade track there was no sign with name of property only a dead end sign with another property sign .After 3 calls to owner a very helpful and charming lady appeared from the track marked dead end and she showed us . The owners have clearly designed the chalet very well with no expense spared and everything was almost new .The shower was excellent and the lounge comfortable .Ideal for 2 adults and 1 child as its not very big inside.However gardens and area very attractive with orange grove etc .Woulld return .
