We had a lovely time at this hotel! True, the rooms are old-fashioned - we had just come from a "hipster" hotel in Lisbon so the difference was striking, a bit like entering a time capsule. But the truth is that the location is fantastic, the inner and outer pools are lovely and extremely clean. Staff is genuinely welcoming and very polite. Although the hotel is fairly big, it never felt crowded. We loved spending time in the beautiful terraced garden under the secular trees, lulled by the sound of the waves. The place has a special calm that is very precious in a world of constant hype and noise. The clientele is older, so as a bonus I can say we have not seen anyone taking selfies or stupid pictures during our stay, which was also a fantastic change!
