We first saw Les Roches on A Place In The Sun on firstly, Channel 5 and then later on Channel 4 and we were drawn to it by the great characters that run it as well as the property itself and the location. It is a beautiful riverside property that has been restored to its former glory by the current owners Richard & Andrew following a 10 year closure. Fabulous rooms, spotlessly clean and full of character. Richard & Andrew are awesome hosts, they can’t do enough for you. Andrew is the chef and he brings a taste of England to France with his delicious home made fayre. All accompanied by local wine & beer. These are two completely genuine, hardworking, people with a great sense of humour and the perfect personalities for running a hotel. My wife and I felt like we were staying with old friends! We will 100% be returning to see the boys and their newly opened outside kitchen when we are next in the area.

Driving through France to Spain, having driven a long way great to find a lovely relaxing safe place to stay. Les Roches is a lovely building right by the river in beautiful scenery, renovated to a high standard by the current owners and very clean. Nothing was too much trouble, from a great continental breakfast to a specially prepared evening meal. Everyone there is extremely friendly as though you have known them for years, couldn’t fault the place. Free on site parking. Will definitely visit again
