This was our second stay here in as many weeks as we stopped on the way down to Cannes from Caen and then on the way back. Both times we received a warm welcome and had a lovely, comfortable room. The location is stunning, being on the riverside. The evening meals were cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Eating next to the river was such a pleasure. Breakfast was super and set us up well for our travelling. The hosts really put the effort in here and it shows; we've stayed in many chambre d'hôtes and this has to be the best!

It was a beautiful old building which had been restored in a style which perfectly fits the character. The river setting was stunning.

The location was beautiful, tranquil, quiet at night for sleeping, comfortable beds, fabulous views around the accommodation. The breakfast was gorgeous, lots of homemade jams, and the best marmalade ever. Whisky, the cat is beautiful and so friendly. The restaurant is right by the river, we even saw a beaver swimming and eating in the river. The food was amazing, I particularly liked the apple crumble which I had for two nights running. Thank you Andy, Richard and Julie for being so friendly, and for helping to make our stay wonderfully memorable. 😊
