It was in a beautiful rural setting, easy shaded parking being away from town, picturesque and serene. It was very comfortable and homely, with friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. We loved the pool and various secluded seating spaces on decks and under the trees. We enjoyed a delicious and generous homestyle meal paired with lovely wines. Superb!

The staff was wonderfully friendly. The place is stunning with breathtaking views. There are a few comments about the road up to the property and yea, it’s long, windy and dirty. Big deal! The apartment was very clean, comfortable beds, spacious living areas. The pool is beautiful and again overlooks stunning views. We had dinner there on the first night and while expensive, it was delicious. Breakfast was simple but tasty with a wide enough variety.

Secluded location, peaceful, lovely scenery and staff were outstanding. Was good to meet other residents and have dinner together, sharing stories from all nationalities :) Would stayed another night but they were fully booked and I know why :) The best stay of our short tour of Portugal.
