The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.Sepilok Forest Edge Resort will not be responsible for any valuables left or lost by the guest in the rooms.Safety Deposit Boxes are available free of charge at the front office counterPlease be advised that maintenance works are planned for the Plunge Pool and New Room during the low peak season, commencing Monday, November 3, 2025, and expected to conclude by Tuesday, March 2026.Noisy activities will occur weekdays from 09:00 to 17:00. Work will be conducted in phases to avoid prolonged disturbance in any single area. Further updates will be provided as work progresses, specifying affected areas and timelines.These improvements are scheduled during the low season to minimize inconvenience to residents and tenants. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated as we enhance the building’s infrastructure and amenities.Please note that maintenance work will be carried out from November 2025 till March 2026.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

The location of the property was great & it was easy to walk to see the orangutans & sunbears. The staff were friendly & helpful. The pool was idyllic & surrounded by beautiful gardens. The buffet breakfast was plentiful & tasty. Definitely value for money.

Absolutely beautiful resort. Dip in the pool was most welcome after hot, humid day. Food was excellent and just a lovely, welcoming feel to the resort.

The location was superb, walking distance to the orangutan and sun bear sanctuaries. Pool was nice.
