The cabin was beautiful. The views around it were stunning and it wasnt far from Selfoss or the Geysir and Gullfoss. We actually got snowed in the first morning there and my son loved playing in the snow and making a snow man. The cabin is very small but you have everything you need.

The best thing about this cottage is undoubtedly the location for aurora borealis. It's in a remote area, so there's little light pollution, and we had a spectacular show for several hours. It was bitterly cold, so it was great being able to pop in and out of our cottage to warm up before going out to watch the aurora again from the balcony. The cottage was located close to a good road and self check-in / check-out instructions were clear and easy to follow. The cottage was reasonably well equipped with cooking utensils, cutlery etc., and the single heater did a good job at keeping the cottage warm in spite of it being -11C outside.

The house is located in a quiet area with a beautiful view. Equipped with everything what you need. The contact with the host was very good. A few days before the trip, we received detailed information on how to get there.Highly recommended 🙌

Much space at the terrasse - and also inside. Perfekt for three people. We had a wonderful evening watching the Aurora!
