Gamla Húsið is such a lovely place! Surrounded by beautiful scenery, it's the perfect spot to unwind. The house is naturally heated, so it feels warm and cosy, especially after a long day of exploring. You'll find that every window has a fantastic view! When we arrived, Trausti greeted us with a warm smile and shared all the wonderful features of the house, making us feel right at home. Plus, the charming town of Selfoss is just a quick 10-minute drive away, which makes it even better!

Superb views from lounge window of the river. Saw Northern Lights every night, very lucky to see them. Comfortable accommodation with great layout for sharing with family.
