The place was absolutely gorgeous. There are a lot of old details in the house like the vintage winemaking machine that makes you feel like in some museum. There is a swimming pool with warm water and that’s a big advantage since the weather on the north does not allow to swim in the ocean sometimes. And a pool to spend a nice evening with fun. The house was clean and we also received a sweet welcome basket with fruits, sweets and wine, that was so nice! Beside that there is a nice barbecue place outside where we could prepare some meat, it was really great.

Very clean, great facilities. Pool area is brilliant (as is having a pool table) and a really interesting old house with a wine press in the cellar! There are lizards and bugs outside, and the odd one may come into the house if you leave doors or windows open but they weren't an issue.

Great location, quiet at night, short walk from the black sand beach and lovely we restaurant/cafe nearby. We rented a car so was great to drive from as only an hour away from Funchal

The house is spacious, very comfortable, with bbq place, worm swimming pool and loundry room. Perfect for family stay.
