“A magical experience.”

My wife and I stayed in Chambre Lilas, and our niece stayed in Chambre Nenuphar for 3 nights to visit the nearby castles of Fontainebleau and Vaux-le-Vicomte. The rooms are cosy with simple bathrooms, but the large, shared adjoining modern kitchen, dining and lounge area with huge exposed wooden beams, more than compensates, giving the homely sensation of living in a self-contained cottage within a stately French Manor. The views from the bedroom windows are magical! The manicured front garden area and rambling rear garden stretching to the banks of the Seine are breathtakingly beautiful to sit or go for a wander in absolute serenity! A delicious breakfast was served in the old-world charm of the Manor dining room by our impeccable hosts, Anne and Erik. Easy, secure parking was a bonus. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

“Like being within French aristocracy.”

Incredible place, one of a king. A HUGE garden where you can relax, enjoy. Never in my life I have been in a place like this. This is a classic house, so do no expect modern accommodations, but you will be more than compensate it if you want to be in such a wonderful environment.

“A relaxing stay in a lovely location”

Anne and her husband were very welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed our interactions with them, and the grounds were beautiful. It was very relaxing to sit in the garden. The only thing missing were some lawn sports!

“We can warmly recommend Les Ruisseaux.”

We were looking for weekend accommodation just outside Paris as a base for excursions to Fontainebleau and the surrounding area. The hosts were always welcoming and we really enjoyed our stay. Seine-Port is also worth a visit. Due to traffic, we arrived later than agreed, but this was not a problem. The hosts greeted us warmly and explained everything in detail despite the late hour. The manor house has a wonderful charm (and history) inside and outside, as does the large park-like property with many opportunities to sit and relax (children have plenty of space to play and explore). The direct access to the Seine is something special (with seating), even if we didn't have the opportunity to swim (only recommended for very experienced swimmers). But it's enough to dip your feet in. The guest rooms are located directly under the roof and are connected to a large common room with a shared kitchen. We only used this to prepare our picnic meals, but it is more than fully equipped. Breakfast was sweet (as it`s common in France) and plentiful, with baguettes, croissants, homemade jam, juice and coffee or tea as desired. The hosts live on site themselves and take good care of their guests. We would love to come back again.
