I lived with a host and her mum, which gave me a homely Turkish experience. I was really surprised when I arrived at her property, as they were having tea and they welcomed me like I was part of their family! Her house was cleaned, and I stayed at the top floor, which came with a small kitchen, bathroom and a terrace overlooking olive trees. She made me welcome even before I arrived as she texted a few days earlier asking whether I needed help. And it was just smooth sailing afterwards. As she was aware that my original plans didn't work out, she did her best to hook me up with other travellers as a measure to ensure I had fun in Sigacik. Her location was great, one could just walked to the Marina and to the centre of the town within 10 mins max. Beaches were reachable via dolmas (minibuses) available at the main street, also within walking distance from her house. The host and her mum indeed made a lot of difference, and I was truly blessed to have met such a wonderful host, not to mention Osman, her cat :) Note: Sigacik was a quaint beach town, you would need to leave your city life behind in order to enjoy it. I loved their beaches as there were shallow and so blue! Meals prices were a lot cheaper than Alacati (these 2 are almost similar in their offerings).

the property was in a perfect location. it is very close to the city center and yet far enough to have a quiet and peaceful stay! the host is very lovely and caring and presents a nice breakfast everyday.
