We came for a ski trip knowing we would need to drive (5min)to ecudets every day and probably get the chairlift down each day. If you don't mind those things this chalet is perfect. Great boot room. Comfy beds. Lovely fire/stove. Piano was a bonus. We all met at the bottom of ecudets for a beer/cafe/waffle/hot chocolate at the end of each day. Lovely bar/restaurant 50m up the road although we ate in most nights. Great place for a multifamily ski holiday in la Rosiere if you don't mind staying in together in the evenings. La Ros itself was great for our group of mostly intermediate skiiers and boarders. Wide blues and reds. Trips across to Italy. Surprisingly decent off piste. A good wee boardercross and jump park. Not loads of pisted black runs...but most of our group not bothered about that anyway.
