I spent two unforgettable days at Hotel Mira in Sedrun, and I can’t recommend it enough – especially for hikers and motorcyclists. Nestled in the heart of the Alps, this traditional-style hotel is surrounded by breathtaking scenery, high mountain passes, and peaceful trails that invite adventure and reflection alike. As a weary traveler, I arrived tired – but quickly transformed into a delighted guest. The warm welcome, the spotless room, and the quiet Alpine charm worked their magic instantly. The hotel is impeccably maintained and perfectly clean throughout. My room was cozy, calm, and pristine – just what you need after a long day on the road or in the mountains. The breakfast deserves a special mention: generous, varied, and absolutely delicious – there’s something for everyone, whether you prefer sweet, savory, or something light. The host was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. And with a Coop supermarket just steps away, everything you might need is close at hand. Whether you’re hiking the scenic trails or riding through Switzerland’s most iconic mountain routes, Hotel Mira is the perfect place to rest, recharge, and feel truly welcomed. I will gladly return – this place is a rare gem.

Excellent breakfast. All fresh local produce. Short walk to Sedrun Railway station for access to ski areas and also 40 minute ride to Andermatt for Gemstock area. Restaurant evening meals superb. Interesting menu all cooked to order with fresh local produce. Mac is passionate about his restaurant and it shows!

Centrally located, perfect for us running the Rheinquelle Trail. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very basic but we had everything we needed and it was clean, which to me is the most important thing. The breakfast buffer was good and the owner prepared a "breakfast box" for us runners the evening before, so that we could still have breakfast even though it was very early in the morning

Great location, across from coop, Nice cafe next door. Could use ski area for bike storage which was great for summer cycling holidays
