The location is EVERYTHING! Simbavati Fynbos on Sea is situated on the peaks of Sedgefield, overlooking the ocean and uninterrupted views of the stars. This mountain retreat is the perfect self-catering venue for those who are looking to step away from the hustle and bustle of city life, to take a break where the mountains meet the wide blue sea. I’ve driven through Sedgefield many times but have never thought to stop and explore the beloved “Slow Town” of South Africa. We were rushing back to CPT from the Eastern Cape so we couldn’t fully experience everything the space has to offer but, in the 8hrs I was there, the venue left a lasting impression. I greatly look forward to returning to the venue with loved ones and exploring Sedgefield like I’ve never before.

The property is located on a mountain with exceptional views, the cottage is perfect for a family and seeing ther zebras roaming around made you really feel in a special place

The view was superb and the swimming pool was a hit with the kids! The beds were comfortable and the unit was peaceful and we had everything we needed.
