We stayed in one of the pods. Extremely warm and comfortable. Lovely to have use of the hotel too. Good value meals and a good breakfast included. Staff were exceptionally helpful. As were climbing Scarfell Pike early the morning. They allowed to take breakfast to our pods, which contained a fridge, and even made us a packed lunch. The hotel is also extremely dog friendly, we could leave the dog in the pod whilst we went to breakfast. We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to stay again in the future.

It had been refurbished in a modern way, you could still smell the newness of the carpets . Plenty of plugs which is a godsend when we have so much to charge up overnight but they also had USB sockets integrated in the plugs. The food was good and tasty and the breakfast was excellent
