Millers cottage was just wonderful. A perfect base for a getaway from home after such a tragic 8 months. The cottage is just so perfect. Love the way the rooms are set out. So much effort has been put in the cottage to supply guests with all they need. So much cutlery, cups,glasses and cooking utensils . So helpful having a washing machine to help with less washing once home. Huge fridge & freezer for all food needs plus plenty of cupboard space for storage in kitchin. Comfortable beds with lovely bedding. Towels provided which is very helpful. Comfortable, cosy lounge with lots of information leaflets on area. Lots of books and games to share. Loved Millers cottage so much , have booked again for next July ' 25.. Found many public footpaths in the area. Great coastal walks out near harbour. We visited lindisfarne, holy island, The grace darling museum, Bewick on tweed, Bamburgh castle , Eyemouth in Scotland, which is absolutely stunning. What a beautiful location Millers cottage is.The olde ship inn was a favourite of ours. The local shops are just perfect and gave some beautiful items to purchase. Having co-op down road is very handy too.
