Great central location, outside eating area which gets the sun most of the day. Decent sized rooms clean and tidy. Good kitchen space but best of all a parking permit for the car park which was valid for many other car parks in the area! Good sized bathroom. Clean warm and tidy. Responding to the review of the car park you can easily walk up the more gentle slope on the side of the steep slope and to park just behind the back gate was perfect for us for loading and unloading, much better than street parking. Simple to collect the keys from the box at the front.

Great location close to shops, bars and restaurants and a short stroll to the beach. You park at the rear of the property, parking permit provided. There is a grass bank to reach the rear gate but as the weather had been dry this was not an issue, and there is a path leading to the front street just two properties down. Rooms comfortable enough and whilst bedding, towels and surfaces were spotless more attention could be given to skirting boards, etc., and some rooms would benefit from a coat of paint. If you need darkness to sleep bring an eye mask, there is streetlight outside the front of the property so bedroom is never in darkness - the pharmacy a few doors down sells them and they worked a treat. However the main reason for staying here is to visit the local area. We never used the car, walked daily from the door and there is also a bus service. Fab dog friendly beaches so no problem tiring out the dogs and the views are amazing. We would happily stay here again, there’s plenty of space and property well priced.

Our stay at Hillcrest was a lovely break. Close to the centre and property was of a high standard. Property was very clean and spacious. We will definitely book again.
