I chose The Priory because it was dog friendly and in a location I knew and needed to be. I especially liked my own entrance, as it was convenient to walk my little dog whenever I wanted without disturbing anyone else. It was quiet, felt safe and secure and there was parking just outside which made unloading/loading the car easy. The microwave was excellent ... we made our simple supper (jacket potatoes in under 5 min each! 😊) Free WiFi was always a bonus. The bed was comfy, clean and we both had table lamps which is always a plus. The local shop was well stocked and open until early evening, good for our last minute buys as the venue doesn't stay open at night for evening food. Our host was lovely, very friendly and breakfast was brilliant.

The place was lovely, however we stayed in winter so it was cold. The place could do with another way to warm it up. Bring slippers and a dressing gown. There is no carpet and it's a tiled floor.
