Offers a b&b experience that is slowly going extinct. The owners are friendly and personally involved in every aspect of the lodge. You always feel welcome and wanted, from early morning to late at night. A magnificent breakfast is included in the price, dinner can be added and is also excellent (with vegetarian options and locally sourced seafood). The rooms are clean and lovely, you are even provided a pair of binoculars to spot seals and whales in the bay. In fact, we saw some thanks to that. The greatest highlight, however, was sitting with the other guests and the owners, having drinks and singing while the waiter/barman Norrie played any song you requested on his guitar. There is no place like Sconser Lodge and if we come back to Skye, not only will we be staying there, it will be TO stay there.

Scenic spot by the edge of the water. Beautifully kept lodge. Nice and cosy. Easy to find.

Great location and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room was very comfortable and the food was outstanding, quite the best meals we had in our 2 week tour of Scotland.
