The room and common areas were pristine clean. There was an elevator, which was great for bringing luggage to our room, otherwise we used the stairs. The staff Lilo and Sara provided excellent and kind service throughout our stay. Beach towels and an umbrella were provided for the beach. The location was an easy walk to the centre, Ruffo Castle and the elevator to the beach. The 15 - 20 min walk to Chianalea is doable but we took the car because all the stairs and steep inclines/declines were hard on my knees. Free parking is available on the street in front of the hotel. The breakfast on site included a pastry of your choice plus yogurt, espresso, cappuccino or tea plus a nice selection of juices. All in all a lovely stay in a quaint historic town with a great beach!

Room was perfect for a short stay and staff were friendly and understanding when I went through some particularly bad travelling mishaps, even with the language barrier. I cannot recommend them enough. Breakfast was great, staff courteous and friendly.

The lovely host made the stay excellent- bringing freshly baked crossaints in the morning and making coffee and being very helpful / great communication in explaining everything about the bnb/ town despite me not speaking Italian. Room was comfortable and clean, air con and everything you could need. 10/10
