“Authentic apartment with wonderful views”

This is a really cute authentic Italian apartment right in the heart of Chianalea. We loved the terrace (shared) with wonderful views to the sea. The apartment was spacious and breezy. Be prepared you have to climb a spiral staircase to get to your room (we were on the 3rd floor) so those with mobility issues will have difficulty. Car parking is limited. We were lucky enough to get one at the port where we could stay for free but it is a bit of a nightmare driving around to find one.

Parking is 600 m (10 min) easy walk from destination. Stuff was very nice and gave us some important information. Breakfast was basic and delicious at sea view terace.

We stayed at Romeo e Giulietta for four nights to celebrate my birthday, and despite the fact that the weather was very much not on our side (we arrived right in the middle of Storm Harry), the hotel couldn’t have been a more perfect refuge. The space is completely charming and atmospheric, with phenomenal views that made every morning feel special. Each day we were treated to a wonderful, thoughtfully prepared breakfast, with the option to enjoy it on our balcony when the weather allowed — a real highlight and such a lovely touch. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and genuinely went above and beyond. With many places closed due to the weather and season, they took the time to explain clearly what was open and helped us make the most of our stay. On our final day, when we were unexpectedly stranded due to train cancellations, and they immediately shared a contact number and made the whole situation feel seamless and stress-free. Even under challenging circumstances, the hotel felt warm, calm, and full of character. We wouldn’t hesitate to return — hopefully next time with sunshine — and would wholeheartedly recommend Romeo e Giulietta to anyone visiting Scilla.
