The fine print
The building that houses the B&B, located in the village of Diano di Scigliano, was built in the early 1800s.
From 1934 to 1993, a wood-fired bakery operated on the warehouse floors, serving the entire village of Scigliano and the surrounding area.
It is in these renovated, renovated, and adapted ground-floor rooms on a public road that we decided to open our B&B.
A terrace with a splendid view of the valley below is available for breakfast and sunbathing on hot days (solarium). The uniqueness of the B&B Calabria lies in the ground-floor rooms, located in the old family bakery. These spaces enjoy very pleasant natural air conditioning from May to October, as our area is located halfway between the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Sila mountains. Another unique feature is the terrace where breakfast is served, with a breathtaking view of the natural landscape with the surrounding valley and the medieval convent (now a retirement home).Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Great host, beautiful vivid village in the mountains, can be used as base for travelling Calabria, clean room with all the necessary equipment.

We loved our stay and highly recommend staying here. Rafaelle is an excellent host who is very experienced at making guests feel welcome. The comfiest bed I've had in 2 weeks of travelling Italy and the room had everything we needed. Super friendly town, and we had a good feed at the local restaurant. This was a stopover for us on our way from Sicily to Puglia, however we would love to return one day to spend more time in the area as its stunning!

The room was cool and fresh and the bed was very comfortable. The host was extremely kind and helpful as was Silvia, the lady who helps. We are in the local pizzeria which was 20 min walk across the mountain. The people who worked there were also super friendly and helpful. The views from the terrace at breakfast were just stunning. We had a typical breakfast of bread, jams, honey, cakes and pancakes with freshly brewed coffee to order. Altogether a lovely stop in a beautiful, unspoilt part of Calabria
