Well kept and clean garden and pool area. Quiet country location which is very close to Scicli. Warm and helpful hosts with great communication before and during our stay. Apartment was clean and had a lovely view (upstairs) with a little terrace including table and chairs. Pool area and chairs were clean and welcoming. For relaxing in the heat, it was lovely. The owner was very kind to loan me an iron and also a baking dish. We appreciated the warmth of the owners. We enjoyed having a stroll around the quiet streets nearby and saw horses, cows, pigs and even kittens. If you want to see Scicli, but would like a pool and a bit more space, this is a good option. Also very close to Modica and many other towns worth visiting. Apartment is as shown in the pictures. Air con is efficient. We were also gifted a large box of fresh tomatoes from the farm, which we appreciated very much! Thank you for having us!

We were greeted by the family on arrival. A nice touch was being presented with lovely home grown tomatoes and olive oil on a weekly basis! On the days that we stayed at the villa for a “pool day” the family left us to it and so we enjoyed the pool to ourselves, which was really nice of them to do that. The salt water pool was beautifully clean and so peaceful. It was a bonus to have a washing machine. The air con worked well. We also had a fan in the master bedroom. We were given clean sheets and towels after the first week. The nearby beaches were about 20 mins drive away, parking was free in a lot of places in nearby side roads otherwise we used the Easypark Ap. Scicli, the nearest town was lovely, 5 mins drive, parking free generally, lots of lovely restaurants which surprisingly had good provisions for gluten free needs, Sicily in the whole was very good, most restaurants served gluten free pasta and pizzas. Our favourite beach for peace was marina di modica, sun loungers 12 euros per person but cheaper after 3 pm. We also really liked Marina di Ragusa, more going on with lots of beach cafes. The old city of Noto is a must see, about 1 hr dive away but go in the late afternoon as many restaurants don’t open until 7.30pm and it was extremely hot during the day when we went. The same goes for Siracuse, go in the evening where you will find a vibrant old town with lots of amazing shops and restaurants. We hardly met any other English people which is good for us as we really like feeling like we are emerged in a different culture, and we found all the Sicilians really friendly, along with exceptional service at all restaurants. A really enjoyable holiday and we would wholeheartedly recommend citta felice.

The host was extremely helpful in accommodating our requests. The pool area is fabulous. The apartment is spacious The shower is powerful & hot Parking is easy Peaceful, tranquil location with views over olive trees 10 minutes max drive to village Lovely white fluffy towels Beautiful welcome gift of fresh tomatoes and local olive oil
