Off the main routes up a narrow valley this hotel is a quiet hideaway. There is a restaurant with traditional German cooking. They were very welcoming for cyclists

Beautiful location Really lovely hotel - it is quaint and beautiful. We loved the old-fashioned style of the hotel and personal touches- it is honestly one of the best hotels we've stayed in because it was original. Sometimes the new modern hotels are not as homely as this hotel. The room was so comfortable and the beds were fantastic. Good breakfast to start the day.

Hotel Ludwigstal was just perfect for our needs: clean room, good breakfast, nice restaurant, extremely friendly staff. As we also came with our dog, the fact that the entry to the forest is 1 minute away was also very welcome. All in all, I clearly recommend!
