The cottage is very spacious, and yet cosy on a rainy November night. A big comfortable living room with kitchen, an excellent modern bathroom, and upstairs a huge bedroom. The kitchen is well-equipped and I very much appreciated the offered drinks in the fridge! The location is very quiet, in a fine park-like neighbourhood. I attended an event at Wijnegem, for which the location at Schilde was perfect. Pity I couldn’t stay more than one night!

The cottage was very nice and cosy. Everything we needed was either in the house or could be asked for easily. The neighbourhood was beautiful and quiet. The hosts are very welcoming, friendly and polite. There is still enough privacy. Flowers from the garden regularly changed on our terrace. We definitely recommend the accommodation and would love to visit Schilde Cottage again!!
