We (11) spent a stormy weekend on Schiermonnikoog and there for quite some time in the hotel. They have a cosy corner and even allowed us to use a separate room to play some noisy games. No push to keep on drinking and eating but of course always happy to serve. Excellent hospitality and good food

This hotel enjoys a prime location in the only village on Schiermonnikoog, within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, bars, and museums. We were greeted by friendly staff, though check-in was a little slow - there’s no dedicated desk, and we waited about 10 minutes before being helped. Our room was of reasonable size and clean. On the positive side, the hotel’s restaurant was excellent, with an impressive wine list and a surprisingly good whiskey bar - by far the highlight of our stay. Would we come here again for dinner? Absolutely. Would we stay overnight again? Probably not.

Quiet and quaint hotel stay that offers everything one could need. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming and the room was comfortable (even in 28 degree weather without airco! The provided tower fans were more than enough.) The hotel is close to the village center and the Zuidertoren but is located on a peaceful street a bit away from the busy areas. The restaurant offers a delicious menu - highly recommend for lunch and/or dinner!
