Fantastic hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them. Extremely welcoming, friendly & an endless supply of useful local info, best places to see and where to eat., they were so helpful. Upgraded us without being asked to. Breakfast was excellant, gorgeous homemade touches, yogurts, lemon drizzle cake to die for. Small touches which meant so much, from homemade treats in the breakfast room, to the beautiful fragrance throughout (our home now smells the same), The welcome postcard & choc treats were a great touch. Strongly recommend satying here. Hope to see you again soon.

Sarah and Jim are the perfect hosts. Friendly, welcoming, considerate of needs and have a wealth of knowledge about the local area to share, be it restaurant recommendations or places to visit / trips to take based on personal preferences. Hot breakfast cooked to order with additional choices of cereals, homemade granola, homemade cake and preservatives. The bar had your usual tipples with some additional locally sourced drinks.

The property was immaculate and welcoming. Rooms good size with everything and more of things you could need . Lovely toiletries, large bath sheets, dressing gowns.Good selection of tea/coffee/hot chocolate. Lovely touch sweets and chocolate biscuits each day. Different mugs placed in room each day (so you know they are cleaned properly) Fantastic hospitality greeted with cuppa and homemade cake (delicious). Homemade items on breakfast table Can highly recommend Sarah’s banana bread 👍 Jim bakes a fantastic pizza 🍕 too
