The apartment was situated on the lovely hills of Pontone di Scala. The views were phenomenal and truly mesmerizing to wake up too every morning. The apartment was clean and spacious enough for all of us. We also found some complementary items in the kitchen upon arrival. Other pointers which made us love this property even more: 1. The staff was very patient with us as we had a 4 hour flight delay, thus, making us 5 hours late to check-in. 2. Even though the apartment provided a washing machine we didn't really have much time to wash our towels, we thought we'd ask the owner to see if he could possibly bring us more towels and he happily did so himself. As we were not in the apartment, the owner kindly sent me a message on whatsapp to confirm that he had delivered the towels. 3. When checking out, I had mistakenly forgotten a bag full of clothes at the apartment, the owner kindly held onto the bag for 3 days and I went back for it before my flight back home. The owner was very sweet and kind before, during and after our stay through whatsapp.

Location is spectacular. High in the hills in Provone. Very comfortable accommodation with a kitchen and great terrace overlooking Amalfi. Host was very attentive although not on site. Communication was good. Parking is safe and secure only yards from the property. Various biscuits, juice and so on ,were kindly left by our host. Provone would be used as a base to visit surrounding areas, as there are few attractions - preferably with car, although a regular bus service serves the village. Ravello is only 7-8 minutes away with transport. Only a couple of restaurants were available in Provone when we were there, but both were very good. You can walk into and back from Amalfi - about 25 minutes down a range of stairs. Nice and quiet at night - apart from a few distant dogs barking.

The balcony has great views and the host Maria who met us with the keys was lovely and friendly. It’s great to have use of a pool too!
