The property was recently renovated and thus very clean. If you are a germaphobe like me, I truly recommend House Smith. In addition, the property had a splendid view of Scala, Ravello, and the Amalfi coast (especially at night, because you can sit outside their terrace). Lastly, the best part of this stay was the owner. I have never met such a kind lady that gave us advice, helped us through some difficulties with the public transport, and much more. It is crazy how a person can feel like family within such a short stay. Grazie Mille Raffaella <3

Raffaella is a perfect kind and attentive host. When we told her we were travelling to Scala from a place close to her home, she offered us a lift to the property, saving us about 3 hours on public transport. She dropped us in Ravello for breakfast while she cleaned the apartment and then collected us again, letting us in early as soon as it was ready. As it was Sunday and the shop in Scala was closed, she bought us fresh mozzarella, bread and her father's delicious tomatoes. The house was also equipped with the fullest kitchen store cupboard I have found in any property.. good quality pasta, garlic, chillis, lemons, oil, coffee, crackers etc etc. The two bedrooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean and airy. The mattresses were high quality and very comfortable, everything was decorated with love and attention. The wisteria-covered terrace was a gorgeous spot, stunning view of Ravello, the hills and down to the coast. On our final night, we could see fireworks down in Atrani. Raffaella turned up with cornetti on our departure day and dropped us at the bus stop in Scala. What a hard place to leave. Planning a return, with more time to follow the walking trails through the chestnut trees.

I loved the view from the Accomodation! It was breathtaking. The Apartment was huge and extremely beautiful. The terrace was exceptional, loved it. The best part was the host! She was extremely sweet and lovely, her daughter was very lovely as well! She even brought me food the day I arrived and even gifted me a Chocolate croissant as a departing gift. She was extremely helpful. Made my Italy trip even more beautiful ❤️
