Loved the little homely touches like kitchen roll, tea/coffee/sugar, plenty of toilet roll, bleach, shower gel - just the small things that you wouldnt take with you for a 2 night stay, but came in really handy. Also really liked the bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival as well as the dog bowls, dog towels and treat - all really thoughtful touches. My husband is disabled and it was very disabled friendly and easy for him to get around and use the bathroom.

The snug is very tranquil and is located in a lovely village. The annexe is ideal for a family of 4 and has everything you need for either a long or short stay as well as being dog friendly. The garden is well away from the main road, so it is safe for younger children to play in, and the owners are very friendly too. There is a dog and family-friendly pub in the village that serves meals and Malton is a short drive away if you want takeaways, etc. All in all, this is an excellent peaceful place to stay and in easy travel of both York and Whitby / Scarborough as well as being close to various historical visitor attractions and Flamingo land

Lovely little house, perfect for me, mum and the dogs. Great garden and has everything you need including a bottle of wine on arrival and a bottle of milk.
