This is a fantastic place to stay. A small hotel with lots of charm in a perfect location to explore the city. Parking on street but that was easy. The service provided by the manager in terms of help with organising tours, restaurant, information about the icity etc was simply outstanding and amongst the best we experienced in travelling >30 years. The happy hour with wine and nibbles is a great touch and allows the enjoyment of sitting on the terrace- Breakfast was excellent with a freshly cooked specialty each morning in addition to the provided cereals.

The hotel is aesthetically very beautiful, and the location is truly idyllic. Breakfast was good, though having a wider choice between sweet and savory options would have been appreciated.

Outstanding staff and you feel like you’re visiting a family. The house is beautifully furnished and very elegant. Lovely breakfasts on the veranda, overlooking Forsyth Park and fun (if limited) offerings every evening for Happy Hour. Later a very good homemade cake is offered. Outside the door is the DOT free bus service.

I rarely rate hotels with a 10 but the Forsyth Park is exceptional on all counts. It's a beautiful period hotel that is very well maintained. It's situated in a historic part of the town facing the park. Walking distance to all the attractions and also served by a free trolley bus, which stops outside. Street parking was no problem, spaces right in front of the main entrance. The staff were super friendly, Dwayne was very cheerful and gave us great advice on the city.
