Very warm welcome from Sue & her family. Woodlands is up a steep hill from the centre of saundersfoot, but easier to walk up than it looks. We're in our 70's & had no problem. it only takes 5 minutes. The room was clean & comfortable. I loved the white bed linen. Shower cubicle was a little cosy, but luckily, we're both fairly slim. Slept well in our room, which overlooked the pretty back garden . Good selection of tasty food at breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

So good to find a 5 star independent home A True Gem – Five-Star Service at Its Best Staying at the Woodlands Hotel in Saundersfoot is an absolute pleasure. This meticulously run, privately-owned gem delivers true five-star service in every way. It’s rare to find a place where every detail is handled with such care and precision. The rooms aren’t just clean—they’re spotless—and tastefully furnished with real thought and style. The entire atmosphere is calm and quiet, making it the perfect place to relax. The food is excellent, consistently impressing with both quality and presentation. If you’re heading to Saundersfoot, don’t waste your money staying anywhere else. Woodlands Hotel sets the standard—everything is first class.

Location fantastic. View amazing. Staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful . Room beautiful and very well appointed. The homemade cake was delicious. Breakfast was amazing with so many choices. Would highly recommend staying here.
