I stayed for one Sunday night in late June. The building is in the heart of the town and is approached from the rear. The pay and display carpark is right behind on the beach side and I was able to leave the car overnight for £15. You have to get a code from the lady in the shop on the street level. This gives access to the key safe on the wall by the side door to get your key. On checking out you put the key back in the key safe. I selected the Double Room With Garden View. This was overlooking the town Sensory Garden. Unfortunately, on the other side of that was The Hean Castle hotel, which was very noisy with music and shouting when I was trying to sleep. The room was simple and clean with a calm decor. I found the bed very comfortable, there was an open rail for hanging clothes. There was a kettle with sachets of tea and coffee, but not very many. There is no restaurant so you need to get breakfast somewhere else. This is not a fancy hotel, it is basic sleeping accommodation, which suited my needs as a solo traveller, perfectly.

The Harbour Stays at Ocean Square apartments are our favourite accommodation in beautiful Saundersfoot. They are spotlessly clean, functional and right in a central position overlooking the harbour. Also safety and security has been taken seriously
