Third time we have stayed here. Hotel is immaculately clean, staff always helpful (even for Brits with limited French.. merci..), breakfast is well worth it and the location, if you get a room over the river, is outstanding. Nothing to complain about here.

Location superb. We chose a more expensive room with a view of the castle which was definitely worth it. It was spacious, very comfortable bed and everything we needed for our stay. Lovely lounge and bar area overlooking the Loire and castle is definitely its main selling point.

We enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect for visiting Saumur. Parking for our car was plentiful. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was also very good.
