“good place for visiting Saumur.”

We had the small guestroom, with one large bed downstair, two other beds upstairs. The house was very good, clean, and we were very well welcomed. There is a good size swimming pool and games for the kids to play in the garden. Breakfast very good. Quiet area. Note that the stairs of the guestroom are quite steep but it did not pose much trouble for us.

I had a fantastic 2 night stay here. I was traveling by motorcycle and this place is ideal. The hosts are lovely and very good hosts. The breakfasts were fantastic with lots of homemade jams, compotes, yoghurt etc (there's an orchard next door). It's a 30 minute walk into town which is pleasant. I would definitely stay here again when I'm in the area. Very nice friendly dog who kept me company over breakfast.

The accommodation was located on the outskirts of Saumur which was perfect for an overnight stay on our La Velo Francette Cycle Route. The accommodation is in a rural location and is private and very quiet. Our sleeping accommodation was spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There was lovely outdoor living/seating accommodation directly off our room and where we enjoyed an excellent breakfast the next morning. We "ordered/selected" our breakfasts the previous night from a very comprehensive list of breakfast items, breakfast was plentiful, good quality and well presented. Our hosts were welcoming and friendly, we wish we could have stayed for more than one night!

The breakfast was always excellent, you were always asked the day before what you wanted and everything was provided on the table. There is a large pool with a pleasant water temperature, and lots of animals such as donkeys, goats and chickens live on the premises, as well as smaller animals such as frogs and fish. The small frog pond is also a real eye-catcher, you can have breakfast or dinner there and watch the frogs hunt for their own food.
