Excellent location of the hotel in a beautiful building with character. Walking distance to the town centre. Brilliant food in the hotel restaurant. Helpful staff at reception and gloriously smiling chamber maids.

The friendliest, kindest, most helpful (and competent) team. Couldn’t be a better location, central and with an enormous, shaded terrace, where they serve excellent food. Very beautiful building too, it’s summer now but I can imagine in winter it’d be a wonderful romantic stay as it’s such a quirky, beautiful building. I’ve been coming to Dordogne for 25 years now because my parents live here. I’ve always found food quite disappointing everywhere and many places I’ve found service very unfriendly. This hotel has been the absolute exact opposite. The kindest, most excellent, friendliest staff, always asking if and how they can help with anything, and food that beats any London restaurant for foodies hands down, and all at such a reasonable price, truly amazing. And if anyone on their team is reading this, I just want to say a very heartfelt thank you for the great welcome I was given.
