The gentleman who was running the hotel was lovely, we enjoyed talking to him and he was happy to help with anything. To be honest, this is a hard place to rate - it doesn't seem like a conventional hotel - we walked past it twice before we realised it was a hotel. It is in a back street and not somewhere you would expect a hotel to be. I guess quirky would be a good description. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and it was quiet (there were no other guests in the hotel). The breakfast was very basic and as we are gluten free, the manager very kindly obtained some GF bread for us but otherwise simply cold meat, cheese slices, fresh tomatoes, fresh peppers, muesli and olives. Tea and coffee plus fruit juice. It is very convenient for the main old town centre (albeit a bit 'hilly' to get down then up). It is a real mixture of a hotel, there are some fabulous rooms and indeed, several 'famous names' have stayed there, then there are normal, average, every day rooms. So, would we go back - yes, it was different but we enjoyed it.

This is simply the place to go! After our original booking was canceled without any warning, Tatjana at Michelle’s Hotel stepped in and completely turned our trip around. She offered us comfort, security, and truly personalized attention to all our needs. Tatjana went above and beyond: taking the time to help us navigate the city, sharing great tips on where to eat and what to see, and even introducing us to local culture. Her warm hospitality made us feel genuinely cared for and welcomed. We could not have hoped for a better stay or a more attentive host. The location is also incredibly convenient, making it a strategic spot to discover Sarajevo! The managing of the hotel changed hands not so long ago, so if it happens that you find something that for whatever reason does not match your expectations, just don't be shy to ask and you'll get it fixed quite fast!

We liked the location of the property with just a short walk to the old town but in a quieter area. The managers are just lovely and fun to deal with. They were very accommodating and helpful, and we would definitely stay again.
