Terrace on the river. Close to historic center. Book at room with private terrace, the ones without are more like submarines without windows.

Best ever location in Sarajevo, easy to walk to main atractions, bus- and tram stops are near as well. Home-like feeling in this charming hotel! All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was really good, breakfast was Balkan style, plentiful enough. We loved our stay in Pansion River, highly recommended!

We had a truly enjoyable stay at Pansion River in Sarajevo. The room was spacious, comfortable, and offered a beautiful view of the river, which was perfect for our family of five. The breakfast each morning provided a good selection and was a pleasant start to the day. The hospitality at this hotel is exceptional. Meliha, the owner, was warm and welcoming, and it is clear that this is a well-run family establishment where guests are genuinely cared for. The on-site restaurant was also excellent — the quality of the food was very good, and the prices were surprisingly competitive for a hotel restaurant. A special thanks to Damir, whose outstanding service made our stay even more memorable. He went above and beyond to accommodate every request, always attentive and helpful. The location is another strong point — just a few minutes’ walk to the tram station, the bazaar, local attractions, and a nearby mosque. Overall, our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at Pansion River and we would not hesitate to return. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sarajevo.
