Sena “perfect location in the historic Bascarsija, great value for money”

Location was perfect, just 200 300 metres uphill from the historic Bascarsija, the famous fountain. You can easily go there during the day to take a nap and then go out again. It is also a few steps away from the Kovaci Martyrs Cemetery, which houses Alija Izzetbegovic's tomb. From the hotel, you can climb uphill and reach the famous Yellow Fortress for a nice view. Owners were great. They helped us a lot. They offered us a ride back to the airport and free bottles of water for the journey. Rooms were spacious, water boiler and mini fridge included. Also some mint tea and cookies were offered. There was also porcelain cup. Had single use slippers for the bathroom as well as shampoo and shower caps. Right next to the guesthouse there was a small shop selling vegetable and fruits, and a small kiosque where you could get water, newspapers, snacks etc. There was a water fountain across the building which we used to fill our bottles with. If you want a bigger market you can just walk downhill for 200 metres.

The house has a great location, within walking distance to many places. The price was fair and offered good value. The only improvement I would suggest is better bathroom cleanliness and some renovation work. In general, it was a pleasant stay with that price
