Izabella “A wonderful stay that I would gladly repeat”

I am more than happy that I could be a guest in Aida's apartment. Quiet and cozy, with the overall impression of comfort and tidiness, it was a perfect stop during a few days in Sarajevo. Despite being located on one of the liveliest streets in the city, the apartment, facing the inner, green courtyard, provided complete peace and quiet. The kitchen was equipped with all the necessary utensils - I felt like at home, being able to prepare full-fledged meals for an intense day (Lazy mornings with plenty of fresh food from Markale is definitely a memory to remember!). The bathroom was spacious and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing shower after a day of sightseeing. The host was very attentive and friendly, kindly adressing all our questions and needs. The stay in Sarajevo is an experience I'd love to repeat - and I would be glad to come back to Aida's place.

We loved everything about it. Some people complained about the size of the room and the bed, but we think it is perfect for two people (and we are both quite tall, 175/185 cm). The bed was cosy as well. The room was nicely decorated and made us feel at home. Yes, the building and the flat are a bit older, but everything is clearly shown in the pictures, so you know exactly what you are booking. We felt the place had its own charm, and besides, it was very clean. The kitchen was great too, and I loved that the host left us some delicious tea. The location is absolutely perfect — there are two grocery stores next door, and the city centre is only five minutes away, as are the museums, restaurants, the market, etc. The owner’s daughter was very kind, gave us great recommendations for restaurants and cafés, and even offered to help us book a taxi. She also speaks perfect English. The Wi-Fi worked well too and the TV has hundreds of channels in various languages. The price was very fair, and the owner was honest and flexible with the check-in. Some guests mentioned noise in their reviews, but although it is a busy street, the noise was minimal and didn’t disturb us at all — we barely heard it (and we stayed on 31 Dec/1 Jan). We were so lucky to have found this place, and it made our New Year’s Eve celebration very pleasant. If we have as much luck this year as we did booking at Aida, 2026 will be a perfect year!
