Everything was perfect, from the sweet welcoming of the host with traditional brandy to the lovely traditional decoration, inside and outside the house is a perfect mix between modern and traditional lifestyle. If you are looking for a place to stay and feel the authentic Maramures vibe this is the spot. Also its clean, close to the village attractions, safe, has parking inside for 3-4 cars. The host, Ms. Ileana can give you nice suggestions for what to visit in the area.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a delightful holiday place in Sapanta Merry Cemetery Pensiunea Ileana and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The host was nothing short of wonderful and attentive, ensuring every aspect of our stay was perfect. The place itself exudes rustic charm and is incredibly cosy, making it a perfect retreat.
